Set up the TV

HDMI, fullscreen, the room code and the sound tap.

Connect the laptop

Plug the laptop into the TV with an HDMI cable.

Set the display to extend, not mirror. Then the TV shows the game and your laptop keeps the console private.

If you can only mirror, tick Hide answers on this screen in the console. The answers then stay hidden until each reveal.

Open the big screen

In the console, press Open on the TV. Drag that browser tab onto the TV.

Press F11 or the Fullscreen button so it fills the screen.

On a smart TV or another computer, go to tabletoptrivia.party/tv and type the room code.

Turn on the sound

Tap or click the TV page once where it says Tap to enable sound.

Browsers stay quiet until someone taps. Clip questions then play through the TV speakers.

The console ticks TV connected by itself once the big screen is open.
